Short boilerplate
Gan Far is a travel map built in Scotland. You tap the countries you've visited and Gan keeps your total. It also holds the trips you've planned, a wishlist, trip photos and passport stamps, and lets you compare your map with friends.
It runs in the browser and installs to your home screen. There's no background location tracking. Family profiles for children, babies and pets are private by default, with a child lock. The map is free. Saving and everything in your account is £4.99 a year.
Founder
Gan is built by Nicole Christie in Scotland.
The name is a play on the Doric phrase "Far yi gan", which means "where are you going". Read in English, "Gan Far" means "go far".
