Wishlist and planner

A travel wishlist that turns into trips

Your bucket list lives next to the places you've already been. Wishlist, planned and visited share one map.

A world map with countries coloured in green for visited and yellow for wishlist

Sample map. Yours fills in as you tap countries.

Call it what you like

Wishlist, bucket list, places you keep meaning to go. It's the same thing.

Mark a place as wishlist and it gets its own colour on the map.

Start with the wishlist

Tap the places you want to see and mark them as wishlist. They get their own colour.

Your wishlist stays put until you're ready to act on it.

Move it to planned

Booked something? Switch the country from wishlist to planned. Add the trip and the dates.

Planned trips show up ahead of you on the timeline.

Then tick it off

When you get back, mark it visited. The country changes colour and your total goes up.

Add photos and a passport stamp while you're at it.

Not a booking tool

Gan isn't an itinerary builder. It won't book your flights or plan your days.

It's the map you look at when you're deciding where to go next. For day-by-day plans, use a dedicated planner alongside it.

Questions

Is there an app for a travel bucket list?

Yes. Gan keeps your bucket list as wishlist places on a map, next to planned and visited countries.

What's the difference between a wishlist and a planned trip?

A wishlist place is somewhere you'd like to go. Planned means the trip is in your diary.

Can I see my wishlist on a map?

Yes. Wishlist places get their own colour on the same map as the countries you've visited.
